The Art of Selling Art: Between Production and Livelihood by Bill Ritchie, Jr. Third Printing. Seattle: Ritchie's Perfect Press, 1991.
"The Art of Selling Art: Between Production and Livelihood" by Bill Ritchie, Jr. is an informative book about making a living as a visual artist. The author does a great job of explaining how the art market really works. The only downside to this book is that it is over 11 years old, which means that some of the information is a little dated. However, it is still worth taking a look at.
